작가는 우리에게 내면 깊은 곳에 자리한 아이를 꺼내 마주하고 그 아이가 경험한 두려움, 슬픔, 불안 등 고통에 관한 모든 이야기에 귀 기울여야 한다고 말한다. 이번 전시는 모든 관람객에게 마음 깊숙이 자리한 '내면의 아이(Inner Child)'를 만나보는 순수의 시간을 선사할 것이다.

Noblesse Collection is pleased to present "Inner Child," the first solo exhibition in Korea by Indonesian artist Suanjaya Kencut, from July 14 to August 18. The artist, who has become a favorite of the MZ generation for her unique stuffed doll characters, will present 16 new paintings inspired by childhood memories.

The artist asks us to bring out and face our inner child and listen to all the stories of fear, sadness, anxiety, and pain it has experienced. This exhibition will give every visitor a moment of innocent interaction with their own 'Inner Child'.

수안자야 켄컷 
Suanjaya Kencut

수안자야 켄컷은 욕야카르타 예술대학(Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta) 회화과를 졸업했다. 뉴욕의 GR 갤러리(GR Gallery), LA의 로린 갤러리(Lorin Gallery), 자카르타의 루시 아트 스페이스(Ruci Art Space) 등에서 개인전을 열고 홍콩의 갤러리 어센드(Gallery Ascend), 도쿄의 브리지 모구라 갤러리(Bridge Mogura Gallery) 외에 뉴욕, 런던, 두바이, 자카르타 등 세계 여러 도시에서 열린 다수의 단체전에 참여했다.

Suanjaya Kencut graduated from the Department of Painting at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. She has had solo exhibitions at GR Gallery in New York, Lorin Gallery in Los Angeles, and Ruci Art Space in Jakarta, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions at Gallery Ascend in Hong Kong, Bridge Mogura Gallery in Tokyo, and other venues in New York, London, Dubai, and Jakarta.
