Spectrum Gallery는 서울시 용산구 이태원동 경리단길에 2020년 10월 개관하여 신진 작가 발굴 및 전시 공간을 지원하며 여러 장르의 아트 컨텐츠를 선보일 수 있는 예술 공간으로의 역할을 도모하고 있다.

Spectrum Gallery에는 1층과 2층의 분리된 두 개의 전시실이 마련되어 있으며, 각 전시실에서는 작품 전시, 아트굿즈 판매, 및 예술 관련 행사를 진행하며, 다양한 분야의 전문가들의 기획과 협업을 통해 전문성과 활발한 소통과 공감대가 생성될 수 있는 갤러리로 발전하고자 한다.

디렉터 정찬민은 대학과 대학원에서 회화과를 전공하였으며 미술작가로서 활동 및 대학 강사로 재직하며 얻은 경험을 토대로 작가의 편에서 행동할 수 있는 갤러리로 가꾸어 나가려 한다.또한 갤러리가 단순히 작품을 전시하는 제한적 공간이 아닌 창의적인 예술인들의 다채로운 스펙트럼을 발휘할 수 있는 공간으로 인식되어 지기를 희망한
다.

Spectrum Gallery newly opened in October 2020 and it is currently located at GyoungRiDan-Gil of Itaewon, Seoul. Our gallery encourages and discovers new/ young artists as well as provide a wide spectrum of artistic contents.

Spectrum Gallery has two spaces of exhibitions on the first and the second floor of the building. Each space holds exhibition of artworks, sale of art goods and alternative art-related events, so as to co-work and co-direct with those professional in other fields of art.

Our gallery aspires to be one that encourages vibrant communication and shares inspiration with our visitors and artists. Jeong Chan Min, the Director of Spectrum Gallery has a Bachelor and a Masters Degree in Fine Arts and has worked as both an artist and a university lecturer. Based on her exceptional experiences in the field of art, she hopes to expand the gallery into a space that goes beyond display of artworks, to providing opportunities for artists to express a wide spectrum of artistic abilities.
